A smokey, spicy liquid
Johnny Walker Red Label - Homemade Honey & Ginger Syrup - Lime
It was Sam Ross who created this cocktail in 2005 at the Milk & Honey Bar in New York City. It is one of the latest IBA (International Bartenders Association) official cocktails. The name is derived from the medical drug 'penicillin', because it is believed that it has similar effects, namely a remedy for a cold and the flu.
Oh, and we accompanied the cocktail with some ginger jellies, just to sweeten the deal.
Our recommendation: A good starter to learn to appreciate whiskey.
Strength of the Cocktail: 3,5/5
Perfect Couple: Moscow Mule
